OVERVIEW
Premier equine training centre, Eboracum Stables, is renowned for nurturing champion
racehorses.
Operating such a world-class facility comes with significant day-to-day costs, and with
rising energy prices, the owners were keen to find a cost-effective solution that would both
reduce operational expenses and lower CO₂ emissions.
G&H was appointed by Eboracum Stables to design and install a bespoke solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to help achieve these goals. Following the installation, Eboracum Stables will generate approx. 43,000 kWh of energy each year and reduce CO₂ emissions by around 11,000kg per annum, resulting in energy cost savings.
