OVERVIEW

Manor Wood Primary School needed an urgent upgrade to its emergency lighting and
several non-compliant fire doors to ensure the site was safe, reliable, and fully compliant
with regulations. With support from Eddisons, Owlcotes Multi-Academy Trust secured
funding through the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) to implement these essential improvements.

Following a competitive tender, G&H was appointed to deliver the project. Our FIRAS-certified specialists installed fire doors and fire-rated screens, while the emergency lighting
system was upgraded to meet Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) standards for educational settings. To guarantee complete safety, we also carried out a
thorough asbestos survey and a comprehensive fire safety assessment.

G&H provided full training for school staff to ensure they could operate and maintain the new systems with confidence. Manor Wood Primary School is now fully compliant, with a safer environment where staff and students can focus on learning.
